Greater Good Co

I’ve spent thirty years helping people, organisations and systems change. The question I keep coming back to: change toward what? A Regenerative Way is my living inquiry into that question — and an open invitation to find it together.

Welcome to our hub for collective good

About This Work

A space for people who care

If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re someone who cares deeply — about the people you lead, the work you do, and the kind of world we’re building together.

And you’ve probably reached a point where you can see clearly that something fundamental needs to change. Not just the strategy or the structure — but what we’re actually optimising for. Because when growth, profit, power and control are the primary measures of success, people and planet pay the price. And the leaders who care most about changing that are often the ones most exhausted by trying to do it inside systems that weren’t built for it.

The exhaustion. The fragmentation. The change that never quite sticks. These aren’t signs that you’re doing it wrong — they’re signs that most systems were never designed with people truly at their centre.

That’s what Greater Good Co exists to change. Through leadership guidance, systems change work and a living resource for regenerative practice, we explore what becomes possible when people feel genuinely seen, heard, valued and involved — not as a nice-to-have, but as the foundation everything else is built on.

You’re in the right place. And you don’t have to carry this alone.

At the heart of the name

The Co in Greater Good Co

Co isn’t just part of our name. It’s the heart of how we work.

Community. Collaboration. Co-design. Co-creation. Collective intelligence. Conscious change.

We believe the best solutions emerge when people feel genuinely seen, heard, valued and involved — not consulted after the fact. That’s not just what we help others create. It’s how we work, right here.

Greater Good Co is Bev Merrett — and a growing network of practitioners, facilitators and systems thinkers she collaborates with on change projects. You’re not walking into a service. You’re stepping into a community of people who believe the same things you do, and are doing something about it.

“Supporting people, organisations and systems to change toward collective thriving — for people and planet.”

Three Focus Areas

Where the work happens

Each pathway offers a different way in — from a living resource for regenerative practice to deep leadership guidance to collaborative systems transformation.

The heart behind the Co

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.

Bev Merrett  ·  Founder & Lead Guide

“The most important change any leader can make is the one that starts within themselves.”

I spent more than two decades working inside complex public systems — helping good, capable people create meaningful change within structures that often made that incredibly hard.

What I kept coming back to was this: sustainable change doesn't come from better strategies alone. It comes from coherence — from aligning how we lead with who we are, and designing systems that honour people rather than override them. That's the work I'm here for.

Is this for you?

You belong here if…

You are a leader doing good work inside a system that doesn’t always make it easy. You are capable, values-driven, genuinely committed. And underneath the doing, there is something quieter — a restlessness, a misalignment you can feel even if you can’t quite name it yet. A yearning for more. For different.

You are quietly wondering if wholeness is possible inside the systems you work, live and lead in — without burnout or overwhelm.

If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

The Substack

A field guide for what comes next

The Substack is where I explore regenerative leadership and systems change in real time — the ideas I’m working through, the patterns I’m seeing, and the questions I think are worth sitting with. It’s not polished content. It’s honest thinking, when it’s ready.

If you’re a purpose-driven leader who senses the old way of leading isn’t working — and you’re looking for more honest, grounded conversation about what comes next — you’ll find your people here.
